The International Medical Cluster Foundation and the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University will cooperate in the field of medical education. Under the agreement the parties will join their forces to organize joint educational events and improve medical education in Russia.
In addition, the IMC Foundation is going to organize meetings of the international medical school graduates of the University with investors and top management of foreign clinics, participants of the International medical cluster project. The first meeting will be held on February 2020.
The key area of the International medical cluster is medical education along with the development of the medical care. The International medical cluster organizes events for doctors, nurses and management. In the nearest future, the educational part of IMC will be managed by one foreign educational operator, which will conclude the necessary partnerships with IMC participants and Russian educational and medical centers.
The wider knowledge of organizing the educational process abroad would be helpful for Pirogov University. Since 2013, the RNRMU has an international medical school. The purpose of the project is to create a mechanism of access to standards and innovations of European medical education, rapid assessment of these data and, if necessary, their integration into the system of Russian education in the shortest possible time. Moreover, students of International medical school have an opportunity to receive both medical diploma of the Russian Federation and the diploma of higher medical education of the European Union. It gives them a unique opportunity to work in different European countries without additional tests. It is the only University in Russia that has a double degree diploma education in medicine. Today, the Pirogov RNRMU cooperates with the Milan State University, the Turin State University and the Perugia State University.
Also, IMC can provide the RNRMU graduates an opportunity for employment and professional development in foreign hospitals in the cluster.
"Improving the quality of medical education is an important task", said Ildar Khayrullin, General Director of the IMC Foundation. — We would like to give Russian specialists the opportunity to get acquainted with the best international medical practices and improve their knowledge and skills: we regularly organize lectures, master classes and seminars of Russian and foreign experts.
