Medinvest Group and the International Medical Cluster Foundation will launch a major medical project on the territory of Skolkovo Innovation Centre. The agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 6, 2019.
The project includes the nuclear medicine center, anticancer drug therapy center, a rehabilitation center and a laboratory service. The parties plan to select a foreign medical partner from the OECD countries to implement this project.
"IMC's aim is to improve Russian medicine thanks to international cooperation and the transfer of latest developments in medicine. Medinvest Group has the same purpose developing the concept of innovative nuclear medicine center, diagnostics, therapeutic and rehabilitation centers. This company has an extensive expertise in launching an effective medical business. And it is really important to have such a partner, because it is impossible to achieve our ambitious goal alone, " said Michael Yugay, General Director of the IMC Foundation.
According to Sergey Notov, President of Medinvest Group, diagnostics, treatment of cancer and rehabilitation after severe diseases should be available to the population in any region of Russia. "The implementation of a project with the International Medical Cluster Foundation is one of the most important steps towards achieving our company's main goal of creating an accessible infrastructure in healthcare to help patients, primarily oncological patients," he concluded.
